Off we go!

It all started in Uganda, where I lived the last 4 years and a half. I went to a very nice school called Ambrosoli. I then took a plane to Belgium where we celebrated Christmas and New Years. And then we took a plane to Hong Kong where I was waiting for one day waiting for the next plane. In Hong Kong we took a little tram up the hill.

Then we took a plane to New Zealand! That’s where the whole mission started. In New Zealand it is exactly 12 hours later than in Belgium, this meant that I didn’t have to change the time on my watch!

We spent a week in Auckland: the first day we went to the zoo to see the NZ animals, we saw a Kiwiiiiii! The second day we went to the Busker festival in the harbor, and we saw a lot of fun acts. My favorite one was a funny clown. The third day we climbed Mount Eden, an extinct volcano, which is sacred to the Māori.

We saw my teacher from Ambrosoli – Tr Betsy – and her baby Teddy, and we went to the Aquarium with them. It was a very cool aquarium which was made in the old sewage drains of Auckland.  The sharks were swimming over meeeeeeee.

We got our campervaaaaaaaaan!  It’s a cool cool campervan and I sleep in the top with my brother Tobin.

The next day we camped on a campingsite with our campervan and we went fishing! And then we had fish and chips for dinner and we sang the fish and chips song.
